Victor Lupi, Ph.D.
I am a rocket scientist. No, seriously I am. I have a PhD in Aerospace Engineering and have been designing microchips for the industry for the last 20 years. Clearly, math is my passion – I do it at work, in my spare time, in my sleep! I specialize in tutoring advanced level maths, but I am also comfortable with the physical sciences.
While I often teach math as a means to an end, I never lose sight of the inherent beauty and consistency of the mathematical landscape. I try to impart my enthusiasm to students by pointing out the (often unexpected) relationships between the various math disciplines. My resume includes teaching assistant fellowships at MIT, where I held office hours to provide one-on-one tutoring to students and campus visits to MIT to give seminars to visiting high school students
Victor's Reviews
I’ve used Victor from Fractal Academy for over a year (and counting!) while studying math at Rutgers University. I started out after just flunking the first exam in Calculus II. Victor was able to teach me the new and old material in a way that made sense to me. He even created his own study guides on the concepts for me to utilize. Going from flunking on the first exam to an 87 on the second exam. He has continued to help me with Physics, Linear Algebra, Mutivariable Calculus, and Differential Equations. I will continue using his services for my upper tier math courses. Highly recommend Fractal Academy for anyone struggling with college level math courses.
