With over 20 years of experience inspiring and helping students excel in all things Science & Math, Kevin is your go-to tutor, both online and in person, for all things Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, DAT/MCAT/ACT/SAT, Math from Middle School Algebra through Calculus AP.
My passion is to work with students of all ages (Middle School through Graduate Programs) in Science and Math. My goal is to teach, mentor, inspire and help students gain confidence in the material they are studying.
I have a specific passion for Mentoring and helping Pre-Medical and Pre-Dental students get into Medical/Dental School.

Kevin is a great tutor. Not only does he care about his students and their learning, but he is also able to provide support throughout their studying process. He is very patient and takes the time to explain- when something is still unclear, he double checks to ensure it has been clarified. He has great techniques for simplifying otherwise complicated problems, especially in math and chemistry. He still explains the process behind the “long” way to do the problem so it can be understood, but he is able to then provide short cuts to save time.
He is also available and flexible- meaning that you can reach out to him outside the tutoring times and he will respond and provide the necessary help. I highly recommend him and his company with no hesitation whatsoever. He helped me succeed way beyond my goal!
Kevin’s a great guy, he knows EVERYTHING about Organic Chemistry. Fractal Academy is an awesome tutoring center and I continued to work with Kevin through skype after going back to college. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to get that extra boost in their studies.
My son worked with Kevin for two years now. With Kevin’s tutelage, he felt extremely at ease with math and science subjects. He got 800 on both SAT II Math 2C and Chemistry, and a 5 on AP chem. The result speaks for itself.
I sought out help from Kevin for my MCAT preparation. I had taken the test once before and had scored poorly, but Kevin was confident that we would be able to get my score up to my desired range. I had always struggled with Math and Physics and this is where Kevin helped me the most. Physics concepts became simpler and I had wished that I had known about Kevin when I was taking these courses in college. Kevin and I systematically tackled every chem and physics topic that was tested on the MCAT and broke down test questions which I previously would never have been able to get right.
For bio, I worked with Yayoi who simplified biochemistry and highlighted important concepts to remember. She also helped me with testing strategies which I was able to apply to the CARS and psych sections as well.
Long story short, with the help of Kevin and Yayoi, I was able to increase my MCAT score by an incredible 16 points and was able to get accepted to my top choice medical schools. Words can’t describe the impact Kevin and Yayoi made on my application. I only wish I had found Fractal sooner!
