I only began working with Lynda Elliot this year. She tutors me in honors physics, which, to put it frankly, has saved my life in that class. If I didn't have her tutelage, guidance, or instruction, I wouldn't have understood fundamental concepts such as kinematics, projectile, forces and Newton's Laws, gravitational and circular motion, work and energy, waves, and light and optics.
She is patient, willing to put up with my frustration, and always readily available whenever I need help. She goes farther than I ever ask her to simply to help me, and that has been indispensable in me maintaining high grades in a very difficult class that requires critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Physics is probably one of my least-favorite classes, but I always look forward to working with Lynda because she makes our sessions both accessible and enjoyable.
At the risk of sounding colloquial, audacious, or cliche, I must say that Lynda is not only my tutor but also a valuable friend. I treasure both her help in physics (which is imperative as I am a senior and have to maintain my grades for college applications) and her advice concerning topics beyond the classroom. She is an extremely intelligent, very compassionate, and truly fun tutor, and I highly recommend her to anyone who needs help in physics.
