I've used Victor from Fractal Academy for over a year (and counting!) while studying math at Rutgers University. I started out after just flunking the first exam in Calculus II. Victor was able to teach me the new and old material in a way that made sense to me. He even created his own study guides on the concepts for me to utilize. Going from flunking on the first exam to an 87 on the second exam. He has continued to help me with Physics, Linear Algebra, Mutivariable Calculus, and Differential Equations. I will continue using his services for my upper tier math courses. Highly recommend Fractal Academy for anyone struggling with college level math courses.

I have worked with Kevin through high school and part of my college years. I am very grateful on how helpful and encouraging he was teaching me. He is very knowledgeable and can figure ANYTHING out. He seriously got me through the horrors of chemistry and calculus with shining grades. He's also very funny and an interesting person. Tutoring was something I would look forward too. Not only is it fun to spend time with him but he makes learning hard material a lot easier to understand. You can't go wrong working with Kevin.

Kevin was great! He tutored me for the MCAT, especially organic chemistry. We had a very short timeline, so that I could take an early test. He created a great structure that hit all the key components I needed, and distilled the concepts I found difficult into much simpler concepts. His homework reinforced those principles and I definitely saw my scores improve working with him! I highly recommend him.

I only began working with Lynda Elliot this year. She tutors me in honors physics, which, to put it frankly, has saved my life in that class. If I didn't have her tutelage, guidance, or instruction, I wouldn't have understood fundamental concepts such as kinematics, projectile, forces and Newton's Laws, gravitational and circular motion, work and energy, waves, and light and optics.
She is patient, willing to put up with my frustration, and always readily available whenever I need help. She goes farther than I ever ask her to simply to help me, and that has been indispensable in me maintaining high grades in a very difficult class that requires critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Physics is probably one of my least-favorite classes, but I always look forward to working with Lynda because she makes our sessions both accessible and enjoyable.
At the risk of sounding colloquial, audacious, or cliche, I must say that Lynda is not only my tutor but also a valuable friend. I treasure both her help in physics (which is imperative as I am a senior and have to maintain my grades for college applications) and her advice concerning topics beyond the classroom. She is an extremely intelligent, very compassionate, and truly fun tutor, and I highly recommend her to anyone who needs help in physics.

I believe that the foremost idea to consider when determining a proper tutoring center is to remember that teaching is an art. It is an engagement and personal relationship between a student and his teacher. Dr. Anderson has become a mentor to me. Not only does he engage and teach at a sophisticated level, but he has also taught me the applications of ideas on everyday life. He has taught me how to think at an elevated level. That is something that I would have never received in my school. Thus, you must make a choice when deciding Fractal Academy over any other tutoring center: Do you want your son/daughter to learn and think at the foremost level or do you want them to just get by with robotic systematic approaches? If it it the former, Fractal is the place for you. If it is the latter, you are doing a disservice to your child.
